Guatemala with SOOZI Making friends, enjoying life, she is loving and caring. The Rio Dulce and the Mayan ruins at Tikal were magical for Soozi. |
|
| Soozi enjoyed Mexico greatly and looked forward to her first visit to Guatemala. We went to Chetumal, Mexico on the border with Belize and took a bus to Flores. People were so kind to Soozi and she shared in return. |

Soozi was amazed by Tikal. She wanted very much to see a wild monkey and toucans. The friends she made at the hotel actually stopped the bus on the road to show her toucans. She saw a monkey at Tikal and all three types of toucans by days end. |
| Soozi found the pyramids at Tikal very steep and scarey. She climbed like a real trooper and certainly graced the ruins with new beauty. | ![]() |

On the Rio Dulce in a dugout canoe! A great way to travel and a great-looking companion. The Rio Dulce is a wild and wonderful area and is still very primative. |
| Soozi enjoyed travelling in Guatemala (as we all enjoyed her) and she made many friends. Here she is in the Rio Dulce with girls of the family we stayed with. This family was really kind and sharing with her. |

After 10 days at Frontera, we took a boat down river to Livingston and after two days, a boat to Punta Gorda, Belize. From there we took a bus all over Belize, stayed one night in Belize City, and returned to Playa del Carmen. |
