Just before Christmas, the weather was cold and wet in Florida so I said to Soozi, "Lets
go to Mexico." She asked "when?" I said "tomorrow!" We got out backpacks, closed up
the house, drove over to Miami and hopped a cheap flight to Cancun. From Cancun, we
immediately took a bus to Playa del Carmen and stayed for about a week. There is a nude
beach just north of Playa del Carmen and topless is generally ok at all the beaches. The
photos are from the nude beach and from a trip to Tulum south of the Playa. Tulum is a
Mayan ruined city and is really worth the visit. Soozi loved Playa del Carmen and wants to
return as much as possible. From here, we went to Flores in Guatemala and visited the
huge, ancient city of Tikal, a Mayan/Aztec temple city. Check it out in the Guatemala section.
