Major hoopy tribute!

Posted by Surfergirl on June 04, 19100 at 18:07:22:

Hiya Carrie.
I know it's sorta late but I just wanted to thank you and Tom for putting me in that ultra funky tribute to Karen.

I'm totally speechless, and that doesn't happen often.

Wow,
Hoopy hugs to you and Tom.

P.S... Good likeness. :)

Hey carrie loved your bistro story ... it was really cute, and funny. And lets not forget
how should i say this ... exciting.

Ohh by the way i live in the area, and have been looking all over soho and cant find that damned bistro. It seems like a great place.
it would be great place to bring a first date to, you know and not worry about commitment.

Keepn up your work ... your style is developing and your drawings are getting better and better.

Thanks for all the compliments. As I pointed out to my co-author, there are two famous Sohos. He seemed to think the place was in Frisco, although it may have been Kokomo.

I'm actually not at liberty to disclose the exact location. It's one of those clauses in the fine print that the lawyers sneak in. Don't get me started on lawyers. You can't roast 'em. Heck, you even clean one really well, so eating one is out of the question. Probably comes from all that bottom feeding.

I think taking a woman on a first date to such a restaurant is guaranteed to insure there won't be a second date. While this may seem like a good short-term strategy, in the long term you may find yourself going hungry and dateless. Better would be to develop a relationship find out if you really like her, or if you're just in lusting after her ribs. She knows, she may even be willing. Weirder thing have happened.

luv,
Carrie

Two sohos ... hmmm. I always assumed it was the new york one.

Well, dont get me started on lawyers... i am one :) Well no i am not, i am studying to be one. But i am not a bottom feeder, dammit!!! Unless there are some pretty mermaids on the botoom.

Hehehe carrie you might be in gynophagia but you are still a woman so you will still give that "relationship" advice:) Well, as i am "dateless and hungry", you are probably right, i should get into a nice relationship, and some day buy her a really expensive present and then pop the question : "Can i cook you?"

thnx for replying and keep up the good work.

The waiting time on the stories

Posted by Loan Aranger on March 29, 19100 at 20:19:01:

A time-consuming but eventually time0-saving way to overcome the long wait to bring up the pictures in the stories, including "The Bistro." After you get the picture up, bookmark it. Then later you can run through the whole story, click, click, click. And it's worth the trouble.

Love your bistro!

It's a different style than the Cap'n stories. I think that's whay many people have found most appealing.

I do have to thank Uncle Tomas for collaborating on the text (and helping me through some poetic faux pas).

We'll see how it goes from here.

My new story at Leviathan, "Indulgence," benefitted a lot from Carrie's editorial comments a couple of months back. I shortened up the scene-setting and added some preparation - Jonathan runs a fun site and I hope Carrie's fans will visit. Thanks Carrie, for being so helpful, so creative, and of course so darn delicious.

Once again you made me chuckle with another great short story as well as delighted me with your sketches (poor fairies, it's not good to snck between meals you know:-), while following it up by flabergasting me with a drawing of a little plaid skirt...

You certainly know how to catch a young mans eye and keep it, Wow:-)

I'm not aquainted with "Ben," the artist who did the Zatanna cartoon, so I can't ask him about doing other pictures for you. I found that cartoon on alt.binaries.pictures.cartoons newsgroup. From his other work I'd guess that Zatanna is Hanna Barbara or Warner Brothers character, posibly even someone from the Batman-Superman hour on Kids WB. But I don't know the character either.

As for the question, I'd say that is best left to your imagination.

Hey, thanks for the reference, I'll share the info with the folks from the club letting them know that if they want to see more of Zantanna (literally) they'll have to seek her out as well as Ben themselves... By the way, you were right on the money with your guess about who Zantanna is, she's an occasionally (not enough, though Harlequin, the Jokers girl {she's crazy, in a good way:-}, makes up for that more then enough) occurring character from Batman...

I'm not sure what you're talking about specifically, but there is something on ID that will allow you to grab images from the Internet to store on your own site. Here's what that Screen says:

>InternetTrash Image Retriever

>Enter the full http:// location

>This utility will retrieve images from the internet and copy them to your homepage area. The maximum size image
>it can retrieve is 100k
>In the above input box specify the exact location of the image you wish to retrieve (gif or jpg only)

>This utility is especially useful for webtv and other users who cannot upload images from their computer

I hope that answers your questions. You can always get your own account, then aske ID for help. ;)

Inspiration

Posted by LR on September 10, 1999 at 06:33:30:

My story at the Leviathan site, entitled Safe Delivery, was inspired by Carrie's style of fantasy humor and low-gore mayhem, plue her Red Riding Hood art work. Now that doesn't mean you will actually recognize any connection - in my story, Red Riding Hood is a young female ogre carrying a basket of very juicy goodies to Grandmother's house. But inspiration is a funny thing. Thanks Jon at Leviathan and esp. thanks Carrie - hope another batch of Space Bunnies will soon be consumed!

As the title of the post says, I'm impressed. You've created a great site here and I have really enjoyed your art and stories (White Castles was my favorite, it made me chuckle when the dragon popped it's head through the window:-).

Normally I'm not into the cannibalism fetish theme (Magic and Grand Illusion is more my erotic cup of tea for you can keep your victo- I mean assistant for repeat performances:- ) but you put together an intelligent combination of style, sensuality, and humor, rather akin to a good date, your site was worth the visit and warrants being book marked for return visits.

Anyway I just wanted to express my admiration for what you've done here and thank you for the inspiration to put together a better balanced fetish site of my own (Right now I just have a Yahoo club, but I've been toying with the idea...).

P.S. I'm embarrassed to say but have to admit because, well, it was a good NET reality check... Well when I found your page I rushed on in assuming that the disclaimer on the front page was, as all are, saying of age bla, bla, bla which I am (28) when suddenly I came to realize perhaps I missed something important... Thank for the reminder to look before leaping:-)

P.P.S. May I put in a vote for a Chat room, I'm curious to see what you are like in real time...

P.P.P.S. Sizzle, Snap, Pop..... Terrible, just terrible:-)

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. And I do love hearing from everyone, fans or not. Suggestions are always welcome. Not to mention a clue about how you heard about me :)

I know what you mean about repeat performances, that's the one downside to the whole cannibalism fantasy. As Daffy Duck said, you can only do it once. Fortunately, Space Bunnies reproduce like... well... bunnies! So we'll always have a healthy supply.

Have fun, check back every month or so, and don't take me too seriously. That's my problem in chat rooms, no one can tell when I'm having fun with them. ;)

Finally, remember: Snap and Pop may be registered trademarks of the Kellogg Cerial Company, but the "sizzle" is all me.

Greetings and Salutations...

I have to apologize to everyone who has read my previous post and tried to access my Yahoo club. I wasn't aware of the restriction notice because I've been a member at Yahoo using it as and Email service for as long as I can remember Yahoo having Email, thus I am constantly logged in when on line and have no access restrictions when using Yahoo's services.

To access my club and/or any other Yahoo club that might perk your interest (there are plenty to choose from) you will first need to go to Yahoo Clubs (http://clubs.yahoo.com/) and then sign up as a member by choosing a user identity and password as well as fill out a rather basic form. After that all you need to do is sign in and viola you have access to Yahoo Clubs and Illusions of Grandeur Presents, my humble little digital tribute to my personal favorite fetish, Magic and the Art of the Grand Illusion (particularly the classic sawing a scantly clad woman in half trick), which I'm happy as well as surprised to say that there is quite a large online community for (though that size has certainly created some issues).

Anyway, one to bigger and better topics (I'm still working on the art of the segue)...

To answer Carrie's question as to how I heard about her and her fabulously entertaining site, I was visiting "The Internets Sickest Sites" (You might have noticed their spunky green seal of approval on the disclaimer page) as I do from time to time checking out what's new in the world alternative living (Cyber etc...) when lo and behold there was the link to "Cap'n Kitten and the Space Bunnies" freshly posted in their "Cannibalism" page as of September 3rd... With a title like that how could I not go and visit?

So that's my story folks and I'm proudly sticking to it:-)

P.S. Carrie ("sizzle":-), even though I read in your FAQ that you prefer to live life as naked as possible or otherwise wearing Victoria Secret (a tasteful choice) I couldn't help but be inspired to ask for sake of my sinfully rich and actively imaginative fantasy creating mind of mine, "How do you feel about wearing short plaid mini skirts"?

I think you're reading more into the F-A-Q than I actually wrote, but that's your privledge. ;)

Having never actually attended a private school, I don't fully understand this fetish. But being a tease, I'm not adverse to it. Personnally, I don't own one, my mini skirt is black leather (art school uniform).

Hope that answers the question.

Carrie

Black leather or pleated plaid a great pair of gams is always a welcome sight....

To be honest I wasn't reading into things so much as I was simply embellishing the subject a little to explore your interests for sake of conversation from one intriguing fetish to another:-)

Speaking of which, thanks for visiting my humble little club, it's a bit quiet right now but that seems to be across the board for all the Magic and Illusion Fetish Clubs, hopefully that will pass with time.

At the moment it looks like we as a community spread ourselves too thin with too many clubs and too many factions of interest. Some people (such as myself) liking a more traditional circus sideshow and vaudeville look emphasizing the flamboyant performance aspects of the illusions, while others wanted to do away with the performance all together and just depict women with removable body parts.

I have to say it's been interesting to witness the community blossom from one allusive site and its collective of anonymous viewers to small handful of dedicated sites and a plethora of Yahoo clubs with many many participants and many many perceptions of the same basic fantasy. It's going to continue to be interesting to see if this community it survives it's own desire to grow and become more recognized in the fetish world.

Anyway, enough about internet sociology, thanks again for stopping by and visiting my Yahoo club, I hope you found it worth you effort or at least moderately entertaining. As you can see I have an artistic background as well and have used those talents in an attempt to explore my more diabolic and sinister sexual fantasies of power and control.

The Great Vilianie is my (one of my) virtual alter ego who embodies my darker more physical desires and experiences while Courtney Dezaster represents what those dark desires seek in a partner (an assistant), one who will relish and enhance the experiences with her own diabolic desires... Both have alter egos on the pages of my sketch books, while I find my conscious self somewhere in the middle of this struggle between being "good" and "bad", it's made me rather mischievous (hee, hee, hee:-)

Without reading into anything but simply the basic feeling I get from reading your text and viewing your art, is it safe to inquire if Cap'n Kitten is your Great Vilianie?

Either way I enjoy the feel of your site, I like the balance of social elements that you depict when displaying or talking about your fetishes it's very refreshing to see it handled in such a natural approachable way.

Well, I should be off, this turned out to be far more detailed and involved then the simple hello and thanks again I intended to leave, I'm sure you're sitting there reading this saying to yourself "god doesn't this guy ever shut up"... I know I am:-)

Lawrence

P.S. "But being a tease, I'm not adverse to it"... Girl, you got moxie and moxie trumps all fetishes:-)

Thanks for the compliments. The short answer here is no.

While I do fantacise along the lines of being cooked, the parts that really get me off are the preparations, not the snuffing.

I've got not strong feelings about being impailed, decappitated, or otherwise mutilated, so i'm not encouraging people to do manipulations of my likeness for that. Of course, I can't prevent you from doing it on your own, any I wouldn't want to stop you from your own fantacies. But I don't have to actively participate in them.

I hope you understand.

Carrie
