Adult Years- From college and beyond These stories for the most part are based on actual incidences and are listed more in the order in which they came to mind and I felt moved to write them up than any chronological order. <Ret. to Main Menu>

Adult Years #1:- Rubber Shorts- B= 10; S= 90 0 [19KB]

In the early 60's I discovered Sears had nice loose fitting rubber sweat suits for sale. I sent away for six pair and OH did I ever use them for workouts that probably weren't intended by the manufacturer. Post 7/99

Adult years #2:- Mail Box Balloons- B= 90; S= 10 [12KB]

Out on a Sunday afternoon hike wearing my shorts, knee socks, and neckerchief I come upon a mailbox decorated with a cluster of balloons just at the time the homeowner was about to remove them. The guy thinks I look cute in my shorts and wants me to take the balloons. I give him my best pre inflated balloon busting performance. Post 7/99

Adult Years #3:- Meteorological Balloons-B= 100; S= 0    [20KB]
A good buy on surplus meteorological balloons allows me to re-create the fun my friend Bob and I had back in high school with his large red Navy target balloons. Turns out they are great for making rubber kilts.    Post 10/99

Adult Years #4:- Big Boy Scout BB Gun Balloon Bust Off- B= 100; S= 0

I devise a fun way to dispose of nearly twenty gross of well overage balloons that I had been given at the novelty wholesalers near the end of my junior high school year. Kids and adult leaders have a balloon busting ball. I think I had the most fun of all.
