For those of you who are not hooked into the SLASH sub-genre, these are same sex relationship stories. Yeah, when a man loves a man....or a woman loves a woman..and isn't afraid to show it.

If you can't get with that flow, then you're ever so very lucky because we also offer GENERAL and ADULT HET fiction. No, not necessarily NC-17. These stories, like the Slash stories carry ratings from G to whatever rocks your boat.

Oh yeah, one more thing. The authors of fanfic do not own the characters they are writing. They are not getting paid for writing these stories, although they very well should be. Ah well, maybe someday mainstream will get with the picture. Until then, the only thing we're getting from this is the tight community and friendships we make in our sharing.

ATTENTION VISITORS: The WWOMB has been having problems with several of our servers. Some of the servers that house this archive, like stasnet and dencity, have vanished off the net. Others have been glitching when pulling up the pages, one server, for instance, brings up the pages on a whim. Another, on some of the pages, has added copy, making the stories impossible to understand. Too correct these problems I'm working to recover and repost the pages to the new servers, topcites and creamhost. Because I recently suffered a computer crash that killed my backup files the most logical way to recover the stories seems to be to go through the lists one by one which is what I've been doing. I'm posting progress reports to the MakeBelieve list as things get done

Authors, if you have given me permission to post a story from a list not my own and the story hasn't appeared assume the computer crash took the permission and story. Please send them to me again, especially the blanket permissions. I can't remember who you were.

I am sorry about this inconvenience and ask that you be patient while we move this site to the new servers.
