Web sites dedicated to "the lips that speak but have no tongue" are well represented on the WWW. The following sites are well worth a visit. A splendid selection of Jokes and rather juvenile stories about farting, on-line purchase of Fart-related goods and many other flatulent activities. The only problem about this site is that it tries to be family oriented, so it is used a lot by teenagers who naturally tell rather childish farting stories. Coprologist prefers the adult approach, with foul language if necessary. Dr Rex Breeks also invites you to submit your own farts. He will not however give you named credit for your anal blasts, and keeps the copyright of any farts you may send him. He gives instructions as to how to record your farts, but if you have a properly equipped computer with microphone, you do not need Dr Breeks's FartCorder. • Who Cut the Cheese? A new book (1999) on the cultural history of the Fart, by Jim Dawson. If you prefer information about farts on paper rather than computer screen, do get this book. It is intelligently and lovingly written ,by a master fart-lover, and is amazingly comprehensive, covering almost everything on this (as well as any other) fart site.
